Situated just five football fields west of the Downtown Columbus riverfront, The Franklinton Arts District (The FAD) was established in March 2007 to help reinvigorate and reinvent a mixed light industrial area in historic East Franklinton.  More of a cultural concept than a boundary, in its evolutionary trajectory The FAD will foster communication, support, and provide venue to unique events, becoming a new destination for the community of Franklinton, the greater downtown area, and visitors.
